This is a project that originally stemmed from a file I named 'Doom Co-op' which started off way back in or with increased monster count more or less plus a few sound and minor graphics visuals but I eventually moved into actually adding new sections to both original sets of maps except episode 4 of Doom on top of making it suitable for single and co-op multiplayer. For the bloodthirsty and masochistic players, be it alone or with friends in co-op! Standard and Hardcore editions are on the downloads list on the description. MoC Overkill will throw more at you and will generally won't give you a breather for your trigger finger. If you thought MoC Hardcore was tough, you haven't seen anything yet.

It was great until the last level, because you're obviously supposed to fight your way out with the rocket launcher you get a rocket launcher at the beginning, and there's rocket ammo all over the floorand Brutal DOOM nerfs the rocket launcher to the point of uselessness.The definitive gameplay enhancement mod for the GZDoom and Zandronum engines.ДЄdds realistic gore, dismemberments, headshots, executions, lightning effects, particles, makes enemies smarter and harder, makes gun louder and beefier, and adds epic new boss battles. Sunlust with mod didn't tried yet but i doubt in possibility finishing maps like 24 and 30 if there are FPS lagging on ZDoom. Especially if in Scythe2 one Afrit's shot kills you immediately. Maybe Sunlust? I spotted it on the Cacowards page, and it seems that whoever made it went to a lot of trouble to make sure the original monsters and weapons are there.

Not total amateur maps full of mapping sins or real boring incomplete wads or any troll ones. Well by good I guess to be of some sort of quality. Out of principle, such maps can work in BD.

Just try playing a megawad without the fancy gameplay mods before playing it in Brutal! Also try Maximum Doom for top teir Brutal Doom maps! That's not a matter of compatibility though, but a matter of how much skilled the player is and how much powerful his computer is, to handle the game easily and smoothly enough. But threads like this always excites me as I'm sure I will eventually create a wad a particular group of Doomers will love! This is why Brutal Doom is a pet Peve of mine.

Someday I will complete my Megawad specifically designed for Brutal Doom only v19 at this point so I can't recommend mine just yet.ДЄlso majority of the complete maps are tech based with a couple cave levels, the Hell maps are for the later stages. Slaughter maps were more than thousand monsters are non-playable on brutal too.ДЄlso maps with large amount of details in the same list. Generally, all wads without their own gameplay modifications should work alright with gameplay mods. Probably gets pretty insane in the later levels with Brutal. I switched off ambient occlusion and that seems to have helped a fair amount: I can now play MoC:OK Industrial Zone at a somewhat acceptable speed, for instance - but other options don't seem to be having an immediate 'aha, that's what it was' effect on the framerate, at best improving it by a tiny bit.I found a list from a few years back and played through them already. I expect this to be an effect of PB's perpetual beta nature and MoC's latest update having happened a million years ago, so I'm not complaining - I'd just like to know if there's any GZDoom setting known to cause slideshows that I might be overlooking.

However, I recently switched to the latest version of PB downloaded straight off the Discord, and many maps that used to play decently in previous versions now get framerates that give me thousand-yard-stare flashbacks of trying to play Crysis with the minimum requirements way back in the day.

PB has always been kind of sluggish on the largest maps in the Overkill pack, but it mostly stayed playable - save for a couple maps that I had to skip straight over, for unknown issues that dropped framerates to seconds per frame rather than the other way around (they weren't even the largest maps I'm assuming bugs and/or incompatibilities between the two mods).
